Canyoning adventure in Barbaira Canyon

Located in the Nervia Valley, starting from the village of Rocchetta Nervina, Barbaira Canyon is probably the most beautiful canyon in the region. This very playful canyon is renowned for its stunning natural setting. It’s hard to believe you can experience such a complete change of scenery so close to the Nice hinterland: crystal-clear swimming corridors, lush canyon walls, and a succession of pools nestled in a magical green oasis.

A breathtaking experience from start to finish. Jumps, zip lines, and thrilling abseils await throughout the adventure. The canyon descent lasts around 5 hours, and you’ll come out amazed. A favourite for the whole family and memories that will take your breath away!

Le programme

• Meet at the village of Rocchetta Nervina at the agreed time.

• Let’s get started: your guide will hand out all the necessary equipment provided for the activity, and you will leave your personal belongings in the car.

• Your picnic will be packed in a waterproof barrel.

• Follow your guide for a 40-minute approach walk through the forest, and the fantastic adventure can begin. You can already expect the magic and the very relaxed atmosphere of Canyon et Merveilles to kick in, giving you a truly great day!

• Jumps ranging from 2 to 10 meters, natural slides, and even a zip line section will follow one another all the way to lunch break. You’ll be amazed—guaranteed—and we love it too!

• No sandy beach here, but you’ll have lunch on the rocks (which can sometimes get quite hot), then continue at the same pace until the end of the canyon.

• You’ll head back to the parking area singing “la la la,” finishing with a short 5-minute walk down.
